Located just 7 miles north of downtown Spokane, the 220 acre Whitworth campus is located in a scenic and wooded (mostly towering Ponderosa Pines) residential area. Spokane, a metropolitan area of approximately 425,000 is surrounded by extraordinary recreational opportunities including national forests, ski resorts, 75 lakes, and 25 golf courses. The city is the commercial and cultural center for more than a million people in the Inland Northwest.
